Interurban Park’s Updated Basketball and New Pickleball Courts Are Ready for Play!

We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated updates to Interurban Park’s basketball and pickleball courts are now complete and ready for use! Thanks to the generous support of the Madison County Bicentennial Commission and the MIBOR Economic and Community Development Council, these improvements have transformed our recreational space into a vibrant hub for sports enthusiasts and families alike.

A Community-Driven Enhancement

The revitalization of the courts at Interurban Park was made possible by a $2,436.68 grant from the Madison County Bicentennial Commission and a $3,000 grant from the MIBOR Economic and Community Development Council. These funds allowed us to resurface the basketball courts, install new basketball goals, add brand-new pickleball courts, and enhance the surrounding area with beautiful landscaping and new benches.

Enjoy the Courts Responsibly

While we encourage everyone to take full advantage of these fantastic new amenities, we also want to remind users to be mindful of the court rules. These rules are in place to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. Please respect the facilities, dispose of trash properly, and share the space considerately with others.

Thank You to Our Supporters

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Madison County Bicentennial Commission and the MIBOR Economic and Community Development Council for their invaluable contributions to this project. Their support has not only improved our park but has also enhanced the quality of life for our entire community.

So grab your basketball, paddle, or just come down to sit on one of our new benches and take in the beautiful scenery. We look forward to seeing you at the park!
