STORMWATER UTILITY BOARD
INFORMATION & MEMBERS
The Town of Ingalls Stormwater Utility Board is responsible for effectively managing stormwater drainage to prevent flooding and protect water quality. With a focus on sustainability and resilience, the board plans, develops, and maintains infrastructure such as storm drains, detention basins, and retention ponds. As an MS4 community, the board collaborates with town officials, engineers, residents, and developers to address stormwater challenges and implement innovative solutions.
Enforcement of regulations is a crucial aspect of the board's work. They develop and enforce stormwater management ordinances, ensuring compliance with best practices for erosion control and sedimentation prevention. By promoting responsible stormwater practices, they help safeguard the health of local streams, rivers, and water bodies, preserving the natural environment while protecting residents and their property during times of heavy rainfall.
