Boil Water Advisory Lifted!

As of 12/19/2023 at 10:30 AM, the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for the following neighborhoods/subdivisions: Summerlake, Springbrook, Estes Park, Oakmont, Rose Lake, and other customers around the SR 13 and CR 800 intersection. Both of the sample water tests have come back clean and are safe for consumption and use.

Updating Our Emergency Notification Process

As a test run of our emergency notification software, we have issued a lift notice via text or email to those customers on file.  If you did not receive a text or email notifying you that the boil water advisory has been lifted, we kindly ask you to update your contact information. Shoot us an email at [email protected] with your current email and/or phone number (please be sure to include your service address in the email). Your cooperation will go a long way in helping us keep you informed during emergencies.

Thank you!

Hydrant Flushing Scheduled for Summerlake Subdivision to Begin on Monday, April 13th.
April 9, 2026
The Town is aware of water clarity concerns reported by residents in the Summerlake and Springbrook subdivisions and is actively working to address them. Our water utility operator, Aqua America, began a system-wide hydrant flushing program in October of last year. Due to early cold weather, crews were unable to complete flushing in these two subdivisions. That work is scheduled to resume and should be completed over the next month or so, as the system must be flushed in a specific sequence to ensure effectiveness. We also want to make residents aware that several hydrants in the area were recently accessed without authorization in an attempt to flush the system. Unfortunately, this caused additional disturbance in the water lines and contributed to the current clarity issues. As flushing operations continue, residents may notice temporary discoloration at times. While this can be inconvenient, please be assured that the water is tested regularly and continues to meet all state safety standards. If a boil water advisory is ever necessary, residents will be notified immediately. If you observe anyone accessing a hydrant without authorization, please contact the Water Utility Department - (317) 485-4321 [email protected] and, if possible, provide photos or any helpful details. We appreciate your patience as we complete this process.
