Boil Water Advisory Issued for Prairie Hollow Subdivision

The Town of Ingalls Water Utility is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for residents of the Prairie Hollow subdivision due to a water line break and emergency repair this evening (4/28/25).

While the break was repaired quickly and service has been restored, the boil water advisory is being issued out of an abundance of caution.

Water quality testing is required to ensure the system is safe. State regulations mandate two separate water tests taken 24 hours apart before the advisory can be lifted.

The earliest the advisory may be lifted is Wednesday, April 30th, pending confirmation from the lab that both tests show no contaminants.

Until the advisory is lifted, residents are asked to boil all drinking and cooking water for at least five minutes as a precaution.

We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as soon as more information is available.

If you have any questions, please contact the Water Utility Office at: 317-485-4321.
